To serve in the ADF, you must be an Australian Citizen.

Salary: Starting from $75,451 for surface fleet and $94,054 for submariners.
Period of Service requirements: 2-3 years for all applicants.
Fitness requirements: You must meet the necessary medical and physical requirements, and Navy will support your physical conditioning to ensure you're prepared to serve.
Requirements: Over 17 at time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and have passed Year 10 English, Maths and Science.
