As a dynamic and growing company specialising in the Building and Construction industry, we are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter and Turner to join our team.

This is a varied role involving multiple tasks, some of which may include:
Operate, maintain and repair CNC machines to perform tasks according to specifications and requirements.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine sequences, tooling requirements, and dimensional specifications.Select appropriate tools and machine parameters for each job.Load materials into CNC machines and adjust machines (tool changes, offsets) as required.Monitor machine operations to maintain accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments.Conduct routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool inspection.Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues such as tool breakage, wear, or product defects.Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and continuous improvement processes.Assist with other workshop duties as needed.The ideal candidate may possess:
Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or significant experience.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (advantageous).Strong knowledge of general metal shop equipment and tools.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Attention to detail with the ability to work precisely.Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues independently.Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.Manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.If you feel you have the experience and skill set, we would love to hear from you!
