Position OverviewBoral in SA are currently seeking an experienced Fitter to join our workshop team based at Stonyfell. Reporting to the Team Leader/Supervisor you will be responsible for a range of maintenance activities including performing planned maintenance, minimizing production downtime and maximizing the plant efficiency.
Your Day Will Involve:Work safely in line with OH&S procedures and legislationComplete preventative maintenance routines and assist in the continual improvementAssist in maintaining the mechanical maintenance spare parts stockFault find, modify and maintain crushing, screening and batching equipment across various plantsStrip and rebuild components to the original specifications and performanceComplete documentation to ensure plant data remains currentOvertime may be required to supplement the maintenance effortWhat Are We Looking For?Experience with crushing & screening equipment preferredExperience and understanding of pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulic systemsMotivated self-starter who is results-oriented and driven to succeedWorks in a professional manner with a "Can do" attitudeOvertime hours may be requiredWhat's On Offer?Opportunity for training and career development opportunitiesEmployment stability – full time permanent opportunityCompetitive hourly rateTool of trade vehicleEqual opportunity employerAbout Boral QuarriesBoral is Australia's leading quarry operator, with 76 quarries, sand pits and gravel operations, supplying about 30 million tonnes of product annually.
