The opportunity The person we are looking for will be an Operational Fitter and will be part of our team, supporting production of a busy plant, working rostered shift hours.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to : Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtimeCarry out routine checks and planned maintenance to maintain productivity of machinesAssist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs of machineryMaintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairsUpdate and maintain data records on works carried outUphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and SafetyWhat you will bring to the team Hold a Mechanical Trade certificate and post trade qualifications in hydraulics and pneumatics would be desirablePackaging industry experience would be of helpExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGreat work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a teamFamiliar with automation of high speed packaging machinesWelding and Machining is preferredForklift Licence #J-18808-Ljbffr
