Local family-owned cylinder repair and manufacturing business looking for an experienced machinist Your new company A local family-owned cylinder repair and manufacturing business that has been servicing and supporting the Mackay and Basin region since 1981. This company employs over 120 skilled employees and has built its reputation on quality, customer satisfaction, service, and product knowledge. Your new role In this position you will be working in a diverse workshop in Paget. You will be required to work with hydraulic cylinders and equipment. You will be fault-finding, doing diagnostics work, using hand and power tools, interpreting drawings and working within a team. What you'll need to succeed Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate Current drivers' licence and transport Have experience with or on manual lathes; Experience on horizontal borers; Cylindrical grinding experience; Have an ability to read and interpret drawings; Able to use measuring equipment; Be a team player, and be committed to safety & quality policies and procedures.
