What we doAs a founder lead, privately owned business with operations across the Pilbara and Goldfields, Linkforce provides maintenance shutdown services and project delivery services to the mining, industrial, telecommunications and energy markets. Due to company growth we are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our Operations team on a full-time, permanent basis on a salary of 100,500 per annum. Salaries are based on 38 hours per week, however you will be paid for all hours worked. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment. Identify defective mechanical components or equipment Repair/replacement of faulty components or equipment Follow and complete all required reports correctly Understand all relevant policies, procedures and legislative obligations Take corrective action where necessary in response to reported defects Work in accordance with the shutdown department HSEQ plans which focus on all aspects of the HSEQ system Carry out work in accordance with statutory requirements Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions To be successful in this role, you will have: Fitter Trade Certificate 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar role Ability to service, diagnose and repair Machinery and Fixed Plant equipment.
