About the role Thiess invites applicants to apply for the position of Field Service Plant Mechanic - Thiess Mt Thorley.
As part of the specialist maintenance team, some of your duties will include:
Performing the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment on multiple Thiess and FleetCo sitesAssisting with machine overhauls and component change outsConducting required inspections to ensure maximum equipment utilisation is maintainedMobilisation of fleets into and between out projects About you This position will ideally suit someone who has experience maintaining the following machinery:
Caterpillar tracked and ancillary equipmentExperience maintaining Liebherr Excavators (not essential but highly regarded)You will have
Trade Certificate as a Plan Mechanic or equivalentDrivers licencePost-trade experience in general maintenance, diagnosis, component changeouts, and servicing of heavy earth moving equipmentSelf motivation and a strong work ethicAny of the following will be highly regarded:Experience maintaining Liebherr ExcavatorsWorking a heightsMDG25High Risk Work Licence - WP, DG, LF etc What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positions9-day fortnight (every second Friday an RDO)Thiess' commitment to training & developmentSalary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
