Full time Position
Our client delivers innovative turnkey solutions to both Australian and overseas clients from the mining, construction, medical and automotive sectors.
This role requires the right candidate to provide the complete mechanical repair, overhaul and mechanical maintenance of compressed air equipment and associated products in a professional, accurate and timely manner including accurate completion of the associated paperwork.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Accurate assessment and electrical/mechanical fault finding enabling servicing, repair or overhauling in a timely manner, of all compressed air equipment and associated products in workshop or at customer premises when required.Prepare work permits and job hazard analysis.Isolation of machine- use personal danger locks and tagsPerform preventative and corrective maintenance service. Including; replacing of filter kit, changing oil and service kit, cleaning of oil and air coolers, and re- greasing of motors.Use operational manual and parts list as reference.Attend customer equipment breakdowns when on roster as Duty fitter for after hours serviceAttend various company sponsored training programmes.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Contribute to continuous improvement of the working environment by offering process or procedural improvements.Contribute to growth and profitability of the company by providing excellent customer service values in line with company values.Travel within Australia and internationally as required by the company.Completion of Service Reports (Job cards) and test reports in an accurate, legible, neat and comprehensive manner.To work efficiently and comply with all company policies and procedures as changed from time to time.To comply with all reasonable health and safety requirements as designated by the companyAll other duties as and when requested that are within your skills and abilities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCETrade qualifications or a minimum of 2 years of experienceMaintenance backgroundPrevious experience in a maintenance field service environmentCommitment to workplace safetyAustralian Manual drivers licenseExcellent customer service abilityCOMPETENCIESExperience with Pneumatic EquipmentSkills in fault finding in Compressed Air EquipmentGood communication skills – verbal and writtenBe a excellent team playerAbility to work in a busy dynamic environment.Salary $80,000 - $90,000 + superannuation+ Company Vehicle
