We make every day count.About the Role: As a key member of our maintenance team, our fitters are responsible for the upkeep and repair of all plant and equipment across production sites, including transport, cold storage, and general property maintenance.
The role will involve performing scheduled preventative maintenance, installing and commissioning new machinery, and handling a variety of mechanical tasks using tools and machines.
The position will interpret manuals and blueprints, assemble parts, maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and support both scheduled and emergency repairs, all while recording activities within MEX software and Safe Ag Systems.
To be successful, you will need to have the relevant trade qualifications, including a driver's license, with a forklift license being a plus.
The successful applicant will need strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, basic computer proficiency, and a commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate leadership, effective communication, and the ability to work flexibly under pressure.
With an emphasis on continuous improvement, the successful candidate will be expected to manage time efficiently, adhere to WHS policies, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
