We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a Fitter and Turner tojoin our Nutrien Water Lameroo, SA team. About the role: Reporting to the branch manager you will undertake repairs and breakdown support for Nutrien Water Lameroo clients. In addition, you will be responsible for: Stripping, assessing and repairing pumps General machining of parts and fabrication Machine pump shafts Re-assembling pumps Machine and rebuild Centrifugal Clutches Repair right angle gearboxes Fabrication of general machinery parts About You: To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate: Experience with Pumps, Pivots and Bores in a technical/ maintenance role Current qualification as Millwright or Fitter and Turner Understanding of the irrigation and water industry in Australia Ability to work in a team and take the lead when needed Communications skills Positive Can-do attitude and eager to learn and grow Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment
