What is it? Our specialised New Graduate Program caters to graduates in the fields of Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Psychology, who want to work within the early childhood disability sector, providing NDIS and other funded support programs within a community setting.
Our New Graduate program is designed to increase your generalist skills, and is embedded within an allocations process and supervision and support structure that enables Firstchance to consider your preferences and areas of interest within your case list. We acknowledge that graduating from university and stepping into the workforce is a significant milestone. Our goal is to facilitate a smooth and successful transition from academic study to part-time or full-time employment.
By joining the Firstchance New Graduation program, you become a permanent employee and will participate in the program's activities throughout your first year with us. The program spans a full 12 months, involving a mix of formal and informal learning, observation sessions, collaborative appointments, team events, and direct and indirect therapy sessions. We provide specialised graduate programs in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Psychology.

Our New Graduate program will build upon your existing knowledge and develop your clinical skills. At Firstchance we provide you with a flexible work environment.
