About the Role
The National Program Management Office (NPMO) Lead plays a key role in the PSMB Taskforce. They are responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the National Program Management Office (NPMO) and supporting the PSMB Program Manager in ensuring the successful delivery of the national PSMB Program.
Key Duties Assist the team lead (Executive Level 1) in managing pricing applications of pharmaceutical items on the PBS. Undertake assessments of applications and provide accurate and specialist advice relating to the prices of medicines listed on the PBS. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver pricing outcomes. Prepare, contribute to, and quality assure written material including policy papers, reports, briefs, agenda papers, committee minutes, correspondence, and enquiries. Use research and analytical problem-solving skills to critically examine and synthesise data from diverse sources to inform decision-makers. Skills / Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities to deliver work in a timely manner. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a multidisciplinary team. Well-developed written communication skills, ideally in a policy context. Strong attention to detail in both numerical and written contexts. Ability to perform data-related tasks using Excel or similar. High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group. This role requires a minimum baseline clearance and valid police check no greater than 3 months old, or the ability to obtain.
