The opportunity
We're on the lookout for a First Nations Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People team on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role, you will focus on enhancing the recruitment of First Nations employees, in line with Bupa's First Nations Employment Strategy and Bupa's Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan.
You will ensure that barriers are identified and removed to facilitate successful employment for First Nations candidates and provide on-the-ground support to Hiring Managers and First Nations candidates addressing any employment and cultural queries.
This is a hybrid role and will ideally be based in Sydney, but we are open to applicants who are outside this area (with some travel required).
This is an identified position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

How will I help?
Your key accountabilities will include:
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy aimed at attracting First Nations talent across all levels.
Collaborate with leadership to understand workforce needs and align recruitment practices with business objectives.
Design and lead initiatives that support the hiring and retention of First Nations employees Partner with Talent Acquisition and Employee Branding teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies for First Nations candidates.
Build and maintain relationships with external employment partners.
Lead and manage a small team Serve as the point of contact for Hiring Managers and candidates for any employment and cultural queries.
Raise awareness and understanding of First Nations cultures within the organisation Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to generate support for the strategy Engage with community leaders and organisations to support employment initiatives

What do I need?
