About the role

To support the growing First Nations team within ARRCS, we are currently recruiting a new position –

First Nations – RAP and Project Coordinator .

Based in our

Darwin Office , this

full-time

role will see you providing management planning and support to our First Nations initiatives and programs. Working in collaboration with our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), you will be responsible for project timeframe creation, funding management, and support to the delivery of KPIs within approved programs.

This role would ideally suit a positive and proactive candidate who has prior experience working to deliver an organization's Reconciliation Action Plan, ideally within a not-for-profit setting. You will be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, work with people from multiple cultures, and have prior experience in grant/funding lodgments and management. Prior experience in the management of government grant funding is also preferred.

Skills & experience

To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Project Management or a similar discipline such as education or community sector management.

Previous experience in delivering an organization's RAP objectives is essential.

Previous experience in a project/grant management role and demonstrated success in achieving growth within a business.

Ability to research, lodge, and manage grants/funded programs.

Ability to problem solve and create efficiencies within the team.

Current NT driver's license.

Flexibility to travel within the role to remote NT communities often for 2-3 days at a time.

Preference for applications from individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and/or have a strong cultural knowledge of Aboriginal culture in the Northern Territory.
