Within this newly created role, you will be responsible for leading First Nations strategy and engagement across the APM Group. To do this, you will work with senior leaders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, as well as external partners and other stakeholders.
You will make an impact by: Leading all Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) initiatives through to approval, implementation, and management of all the performance targets with internal and external stakeholders.Working with APM People and Culture teams to build upon and deliver the workforce strategy, strong internal networks, and develop cultural competencies.Leading engagement and partnership strategies, identifying opportunities in regions where we operate to ensure that we have referral partners and community engagement in each local region.Creating a public voice on policy and influencing the Commonwealth, State and Territories, and relevant Agencies nationally.To be successful in this role you will have: Innovative policy development and program implementation across large organisations.Experience identifying business opportunities and developing relevant tenders and documentation.Leadership qualities that demonstrate your standing within peak organisations and communities.Exposure to Human Services, Health, or similar industries and/or tertiary qualifications as an advantage.This position is identified for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and is intended to constitute a special measure under section 8 (1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), and section 57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1996 (NT).
