The First Nations lead will be responsible for driving and delivering initiatives that support First Nations across the state.In this role, you will:Lead the establishment of Tennis QLD's RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan) and relationship with Reconciliation Australia.Liaise with TA on First Nations initiatives and provide updates to the wider Tennis Queensland team.Partner with SWIN (South-West Indigenous Network) and other First Nations partners to promote and grow tennis opportunities in Queensland.Lead Tennis Queensland's representation in the National Indigenous Carnival (NITC) and lead in events for TQ.Increase partnerships with First Nations organisations to support participation growth.Provide reports to the Exec and Management team on First Nations initiatives including updates on the Tennis Queensland RAP.About youWhat you will bring to the role:Understanding of First Nations people and community development.Ability to develop and implement sustainable inclusion programs and initiatives.Ability to build and develop strong relationships with varying stakeholders.Experience in developing collaborative partnerships.You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Blue Card and Working with Children Check.What's in it for you?Career development with a range of formal education and on-the-job training opportunitiesHealth & wellbeing activities through our Thrive program.Flexible working practicesA range of discounts from our sponsorship partnersTo ApplyIf you think you're up to the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
