Candidates must have an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and proven culturally appropriate engagement and communication skills.We have an exciting opportunity to join our Job Coach team in (location).

The right person has great opportunity for career progression within the team.The Job Coach's role is to guide our clients towards job-readiness and enabling opportunities for employment once they are ready for work.
As one of our Job Coaches, you will be at the forefront of our services, working one-on-one with clients to provide support for a sustainable career.On a typical day as a Job Coach you might be:Encouraging and motivating participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment;Building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;Ensuring all activity is appropriately recorded, documented and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements;Ensuring our clients, employers and those we work with, receive exceptional service at every stage of the process.QualificationsAn understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoplesAn ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.Association or experience with Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Community organisationsConfidently be able to manage your responsibilities, your workload and collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.Have a high level of computer literacyBe able to build and maintain internal and external relationships with employers, service providers and clientsProven experience working with targets and/or KPI'sAn overall desire to be part of our broader atWork Australia family, with a true belief in our purpose: to connect people and business, so both can thrivePrevious experience in Employment Services, Customer Service or sales will be highly regarded.Hold a current Drivers Licence.Additional InformationWhat we will give you:Job stability and guaranteed hours; full time or part time depending on your needs.Paid parental leave.Full training, as well as ongoing career development opportunities.Flexible work options.Incentive programs.Apply NowWe put our clients, the people we support, at the centre of all we do and don't stop until they find a lasting and fulfilling job.
