About the role
Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa is seeking a dedicated First Nations Education Teacher.
This role is a Full Time, Permanent position commencing Monday, 20 January 2025.
This role includes classroom teaching as part of your duties.
The role of the First Nations Education Teacher is to assist the Principal in the areas of Curriculum, Pastoral Care, and Community Engagement.
The First Nations Education Teacher works cooperatively and collaboratively with school leadership personnel, teachers, First Nations Education Workers, student support services team members, and Parents/Carers to ensure our First Nations' students are supported to engage purposefully in learning.

Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers Current Driver's Licence Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
Significant experience in working with First Nations students Experienced classroom teacher with specialized knowledge about First Nations students.
