About the roleSt John Ambulance Victoria are seeking trainers with experience in the electrical industry to deliver first aid training to electrical professionals and other members of the community.St John trainers conduct training courses in accordance with national frameworks, training quality standards, as well as organisational policies, procedures and protocols.The trainers provide excellent student experiences by delivering engaging training and assessment in first aid.
The trainers will engage with members of the public in a range of community settings to promote first aid awareness and education.This role will require travel to Melbourne metro and regional areas and applications are welcome from candidates in Greater Melbourne or regional Victoria.As our ideal candidate, you will possess:A positive & engaging communication styleA relevant qualification for the delivery of Vocational Education & Training to meet the RTO standards (eg.
Certificate IV TAE40122 or TAE40116).
Newly qualified trainers, or those working towards a qualification, are welcome to apply and will be supported by a comprehensive onboarding program.Experience or qualifications in the electrical services industry, or in the maintenance of electrical equipment (low voltage) or experienced electrician.Experience in the provision of first aid, and a passion for training & education in the field of safety, first aid or other related field.Ability to administer first aid to own level of training.Basic IT skills and the ability and willingness to learn new technology.Have a current driver's license, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.Don't meet every requirement?
