Internal Supply Chain Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Internal Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead and oversee our procurement processes, fabrication workshop, and warehousing facility. This pivotal role ensures seamless integration across operations to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
This position encompasses responsibilities across multiple business units, including:
MEP Business Unit Tool Shop Business The successful candidate will ensure that the supply chain operations support the unique needs of each unit while aligning with the overall strategic goals of the Firesafe Group.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to meet project and operational needs. Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality materials. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to optimize costs. Fabrication Workshop Oversight Coordinate fabrication operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards. Implement process improvements to enhance workshop efficiency and output. Oversee equipment maintenance and compliance with safety regulations. Warehouse and Inventory Management Manage warehousing operations, including inventory control and logistics. Implement best practices for stock management to minimize waste and downtime. Ensure accurate inventory records and timely reporting. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team across procurement, fabrication, and warehousing. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills Experience: Minimum 2.5 years in supply chain, procurement, or operations management. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
