Fire Technician | Electrical

$45-$55 p/h + Super + Vehicle + AMAZING perks + Early Finish Fridays.
APAC FM have been engaged by a global solutions provider to source a specialist Fire Technician to work on major & diverse projects in Darwin including Government, Power, Educational & Commercial clients.
Snapshot of what your day could include:
Completing servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems Carry out installations of fire alarm systems Fault finding, investigating and rectifying any malfunctions or faults. Repairing components when faulty. Calibrating and programming systems. Keeping current with regulations and industry standards. Ensuring all works are documented in daily reports. Maintain an organised workplace and vehicle. Offer outstanding customer service to our clients. Ideally, the right candidate will have:
2+ Years of experience within the fire industry Experience Testing & Servicing fire alarm panels is HIGHLY desirable Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing. Blue / White Card Current Extinguisher Agent Handling License (desired but not required) Working at heights, Confined Space, First Aid / CPR (desired but not required) Capable of working independently & collaborating effectively within a team Strong time management abilities Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge within the industry Exposure to key client sites; Government , Charles Darwin University, Large Power & Water Projects and Defence Sites.
