The role
Our busy team are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician, working a 9-day fortnight with weekends & public holidays off.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of fire suppression systems on mobile equipment and provide technical/product support to our valued customers across Victoria.
Areas of responsibility
Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and install Fire Suppression systems.
Identify faults in the electrical and mechanical configuration of various mobile suppression systems.
Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
Support technicians from other regions and assist in training.
Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies.
Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously.
Assist with machine audits/inspections.
Your profile
Valid, open driver licence due to the required travel.
Knowledge and exposure to fire suppression systems applicable to mobile mining equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Willingness to work with customer requirements, procedures and safety policies.
Positive attitude and a high level of determination to achieve targets set for customer satisfaction.
Accreditation by the Fire Protection Association (FPA) is desirable.
