APS designs, constructs, and maintains the systems that make Australia's buildings efficient, safe, and comfortable.About the Position The Service Supervisor – Fire is responsible for a range of client facing activities as well as being hands on in completing a range of works whilst managing the performance of a small team of technicians (2-4). You will manage a maintenance schedule across multiple sites in Darwin as well as remotely within NT. Here's a snapshot of your day:Support the Service Manager in delivering outcomes for a key group of clients via a team of techniciansMaintain and service all Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to Australian StandardsConduct routine inspection, testing and servicing of Wet Fire Systems - Sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and pumpsEstablish and maintain strong client relationshipsDetermine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionCoordinate, compile and submit the required paperwork and other proceduresAttending callouts as per rostered requirementsMaintain industry knowledge and monitor market developments, keep up to date with the latest changes and advances in Fire ServicesCommitment to the highest standards of business code of conductComply with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures The Ideal Candidate will have:Minimum 5 years' experience in the Fire industry (wet/dry), with experience as a supervisor/Leading HandTrade Qualified – Plumbing/Registered Fire Sprinkler FitterExperience using SimPro is highly advantageousHighly developed interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of OH&S RequirementsStrong diagnostics and fault-finding abilitiesExcellent customer service skills Can we inspire you to join us?
