What you'll doAs a Building Fire Safety Compliance Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting fire safety assessments and audits as well as building compliance assessments. Reporting to the Team Leader – Property Compliance, and supported by a team of high-performing experts, your specific responsibilities will include:
Participating in in-house training to increase your knowledge and capability in the delivery of fire safety compliance servicesConducting essential fire safety measure audits, facilitating systems interface tests and completing Annual Essential Safety Measures ReportsServicing clients who manage a range of property profiles including commercial, retail, warehouse and industrial facilitiesManaging and delivering assigned projects to ensure they meet defined project objectives, timeframes, budgets and quality assurance standardsActing as a subject matter expert and regularly communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to convey high-quality and accurate technical informationContributing to the region's pipeline of business to ensure revenue targets are achieved through proactive client relationships and project managementAbout youIdeally, you will have some experience in the auditing of essential fire safety measures, with a sound knowledge of AS1851, the BCA and legacy codes and standards applicable to building fire safety.
Other experience and attributes you will need to ensure success in this role include:
Excellent interpersonal, project management, problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and focus on clients.Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with others as well as the skills to communicate and build strong business relationships.Tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or fire technology, plus previous experience in a consulting role will be highly regarded.With us, you can.
