Fire Panel Technician

As a mobile Maintenance Fire Panel Technician, you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests across multiple key contracts for BGIS.
This role is based in Newcastle, NSW. Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS 1851-2012Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire systems and equipmentInstallation of Portable Fire systems and equipmentAssist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial workLiaise directly with the client regarding service workConduct facility maintenance as requiredCommit to workplace safety & good work practicesSkills & ExperienceStrong experience and understanding of AS1851 and AS2118Demonstrate experience working with Portable Fire EquipmentDemonstrate and understand process of installation, repair and testingAbility to mentor and train staffWHS Construction White cardDrivers Licence (must be able to drive a manual)CultureAt BGIS, we create safe environments where our people can do their best work.
