Your responsibilities will include: Record Keeping: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of fire incidents, personnel, and compliance. Policy Development: Contributing to the creation and maintenance of fire management policies and procedures. Financial Management: Handling financial transactions, purchase orders, and invoicing. Contract Management: Developing and managing contracts related to fire management. Logistics and Planning: Organising fire drills, training, and emergency responses. System Administration: Managing and maintaining fire management systems and databases. Training Coordination: Organising and administering internal and external training programs. TasGRN Support: Assisting with equipment management, inventory, training, and incident support. Based in Derwent Park, Hobart, this role is primarily office-based, with occasional field visits when coordinating training and logistics. Your primary focus will be on the important administrative tasks, but you'll also be involved in bushfire planning, response, and planned burning activities.
