The purpose of the role is to provide specialist advice and support to Department staff and other stakeholders engaged in the Department's fire management programme, and to carry out fire management and suppression activities.The reserve estate comprises high conservation and heritage values, a world-class reserve system, and the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage area, including the Iconic Southwest National Park, Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, and Mount Field National Park, to name just a few.
