Defend Fire has multiple positions available for motivated individuals to join our expanding service and projects teams.
About the company
Defend Fire is a Northern Territory owned and operated fire protection company. Our company provides installation, service, and maintenance of fire equipment in commercial, residential, and industrial sites including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Jabiru, and even the remotest parts of the Territory.
The opportunity:
We are looking to fill multiple positions within our fire company due to steady growth and secured projects in the new year. Fire electricians are encouraged to apply for opportunities in our construction and service divisions.
About you:
Minimum 3 (three) years fire industry experience.
Electrical licence.
Motivated to grow and learn; great attitude.
Passionate and driven self-starter who can work autonomously and deliver high standard results.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, plan and prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team members, clients, and suppliers.
Proactive with a strong, quick-thinking mindset.
Customer focused.
Strong communication.
Repair, maintenance, and installation of fire protection equipment.
Take pride in your tasks with an attention to detail.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and FireMate software; or be willing to undertake training in the same.
Must have rights to work in Australia, or be working towards obtaining the same.

Renumeration - all commensurate on experience:
Fire Alarm technicians - $80,000 to $95,000.
Additionally to the above, we pay superannuation, overtime, and allowances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
