Who you are? We are seeking applicants for the position of Fire Assayer, who are excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers.
You will be based at Kalgoorlie, WA and will be responsible for using specialised equipment and performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.
Some of your tasks will be: Weigh samples for analysisFluxing, firing, knock-up and cupellation of samplesEnsure correct procedures are used and adhered toFollow QHSE proceduresWhat will you bring to the role? Reliable and keen to work the shift rosterPhysically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasksAbility to work an 8 hour rotating day and afternoon shift roster with potential overtimeAbility to follow set procedures and good attention to detailWillingness to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safetyShift work roster available Please note that as part of the recruitment process, you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full medical, drug and alcohol test.
