Fin Tech Business Analyst Essential skills/duties: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst supporting projects that involve business operations transformation, including implementation of changed business processes and new technology platforms.
Plan and facilitate business analysis activities including workshops and stakeholder interviews.
Gather business requirements, identify relevant high-level data needs, and conduct pain point analysis.
Carry out high-level modeling of As-Is business processes and synthesize knowledge gathered into proposals for enhanced To-Be processes.
Translate information and document in the form of software features, acceptance criteria, and other business analysis artifacts.
Conduct and assist with the definition and testing of business systems, including the investigation and resolution of application system problems while offering specialist advice in the context of solution design and business process improvement.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with an initiative to work with minimal direction and form agreed plans to execute.
Provide a conduit between business areas and external partners and/or IT development test and operations teams; while working in a multi-disciplinary team comprised of subject matter experts, developers, testers, external vendors, and project managers.
Desirable skills: Experience with Technology One Financials and Supply Chain, or alternative ERP's / Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) such as SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle Financials.
Experience with Corporate Travel Management Systems (e.g.
Technology One Travel & Expense Management; SAP Concur; Navan).
Experience with Corporate Purchase / Credit Card management systems (e.g.
Technology One Purchase Cards including DXP, SAP Concur).
Relevant tertiary qualifications or formal business analysis certifications.
