In this role, you'll: Bring extensive experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly levelling and trimming processes. Utilise your demonstrated ability to trim and finish road pavements to tight tolerances. Operate plant machinery to achieve predetermined tolerances, achieving high quality and smooth road output. Have responsibility for the completion of activities to quality specifications. Lead, monitor and control the operation of all other plant and staff in road operations being undertaken, particularly levelling and trimming processes. Accept that you will be required to work away from home on a regular basis. We're seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are a well-seasoned Grader Operator with Final Trim experience looking for an opportunity to further develop and progress your career with a rewarding organisation.

You will also hold the following:

White Card. Current Driver's license. Experience operating a grader. Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment.

Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district. As a Finishing Grader operator, you will have experience delivering high quality final trim grading and general operation of graders for maintenance and construction purposes.

An MR and above truck licence, while not essential, would be advantageous.

You must be willing to perform General Labouring work at a Road Worker Grade 3 level when not operating plant and equipment.

We take the WH&S and fatigue management of our employees seriously; therefore, the successful candidate will be required to reside within 100 km of the Hay Works Centre.

You will be required to work outside normal working hours and attend after hours call-outs.
You will be prepared to travel throughout the region periodically, which will require time away from home.
