You will lead the JB Hi-Fi financial accounting team for the JB Hi-Fi Australia and JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business along with driving process improvements.
This role would suit a finance leader experienced in financial reporting across large-scale, publicly listed entities.
Ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of a suite of monthly reports to the executive, senior management and operational teamsProviding insight and analysis of monthly results to the various business unitsOverseeing all financial accounting, month end processes and balance sheet reconciliationsEnsuring compliance with all relevant accounting standardsManagement of the external audit of the JB Hi-Fi businessesEnsuring compliance with monthly GST lodgements for the JB Hi-Fi businessesEffectively lead, train and develop a team of qualified accountants and finance professionalsWork closely with the Group Reporting and Tax Manager to assist with the preparation of group consolidations, monthly Board reporting along with annual and half-yearly statutory financial statements for the GroupWork collaboratively with the Group Finance Systems and Projects Manager to assist with finance system developments, improvements and implementationsAbout you Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance with CPA/CA certification8+ years relevant professional experience, preferably within a retail or a similar environment, initial Big 4 or mid-tier experience is also preferredExperience in leading and developing high performing teamsProven financial accounting and reporting skillsExperience in using a large-scale ERP system along with reporting tools such as Power BI or TM1 preferredExceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenTo Apply If you are interested in this exciting opportunity with us, please click apply and upload your CV.
