Financial Reporting Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Melbourne CBD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage financial operations, ensuring effective reporting, analysis, and control of the general ledger. You will be instrumental in driving improved processes and business outcomes. This position provides a platform for you to showcase technical and analytical capabilities, leadership skills and ability to influence change across the organisation.
What you'll do: Oversee the completion of month-end accounts, journal adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations Analyse actual results against forecast and prepare ad-hoc financial reports Manage external audit processes and preparation of work papers Support Commercial and Operations teams with financial information and reporting to aid decision making Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow management Prepare monthly statutory financial reporting for the Board as required Manage consolidated financial reporting efficiently, including month-end and year-end processes What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is essential CA or CPA qualification is required Experience from a big four or mid-tier consulting firm is desirable Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills are needed Proven people management skills are crucial Hands-on experience with end-to-end month-end and reporting capabilities is important What sets this company apart: Our client is renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation within their industry.
