Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Melbourne CBD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage financial operations, ensuring effective reporting, analysis, and control of the general ledger. You will be instrumental in driving improved processes and business outcomes. What you'll do: Oversee the completion of month-end accounts, journal adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliationsAnalyse actual results against forecast and prepare ad-hoc financial reportsManage external audit processes and preparation of work papersSupport Commercial and Operations teams with financial information and reporting to aid decision makingAssist the Financial Controller with cash flow managementPrepare monthly statutory financial reporting for the Board as requiredManage consolidated financial reporting efficiently, including month-end and year-end processesWhat you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is essentialCA or CPA qualification is requiredExperience from a big four or mid-tier consulting firm is desirableExcellent communication and leadership skills are necessaryStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills are neededProven people management skills are crucialHands-on experience with end-to-end month-end and reporting capabilities is importantWhat sets this company apart: Our client is renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation within their industry.
