Your role will involve leading the preparation of our annual financial statements, managing the external audit process, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax legislation.

What you'll do: Lead the preparation and management of financial reporting obligations, ensuring all documentation and schedules are completed accurately and on time.
Oversee the external audit process, coordinating internal activities to meet audit requirements and implement necessary improvements.
Manage taxation obligations, including the calculation and reporting for GST and FBT, and prepare monthly BAS.
Ensure accurate maintenance of asset registers and valuations.
Oversee treasury management, including daily bank reconciliations and cash flow management, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and other stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to the External Reporting team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team is equipped to achieve their objectives.
What you'll need: CA/CPA qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax legislation, including FBT and GST.
Proven experience in managing external audits and financial reporting processes.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience in the corporate, health, community, or commercial sectors is highly desirable.
