Bring your authentic & passionate self to this exceptional role. As our fund continues to go from strength to strength, we are seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting and Standards Specialist to ensure compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting processes.
Your day will see you: Interpret and apply regulatory and accounting standards in the preparation of Fund and Trustee financial statements and regulatory reporting. Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in accounting standards relevant to Superannuation Funds. Advise on the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with current standards. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting procedures and controls. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting processes. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial reporting. About you: Bachelor degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or CA. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a related role, preferably within the Superannuation sector. Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements for Superannuation Funds. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools. Ability to interpret complex financial regulations and standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
