With exciting growth plans at their new office in Brisbane, they are now looking for a new Financial Lead on Reporting and Compliance on a full-time basis for approximately 6 months, with a strong possibility of moving into a permanent role thereafter.Your new rolePreparation of balance sheet reconciliations and other month-end tasksSubmission of local accounts on time for group consolidationSOX compliance - supporting the implementation of the SOX frameworkMaintain compliance with financial reporting, as required by SOXAccountable for supporting internal and external auditsTimely closure of technical accounting with external auditorsAssist in the implementation of new accounting standardsOversee treasury operations, including cash management systemsWhat you'll need to succeedDegree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldProfessional accounting membership - CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalentMinimum of 3+ years in financial reporting, preferably at a publicly traded companyExperience working in a SOX environmentWhat you'll get in returnTaking on this fixed-term assignment within a busy FMCG environment will be exciting as you get the chance to business partner with all key internal and external stakeholders.
