Financial Projects Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced business, finance or accounting professional to join our College community.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, the newly established role of Financial Projects Manager is integral in the financial and budget management at the College.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the College's budgeting and forecasting processes, alongside project managing work associated with strategic planning, coordinating feasibility studies, compliance reporting and other key projects. The scope of the role is broad and will also support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, when required.
The role requires a high level of accuracy, autonomy and time management and is expected to demonstrate initiative and lead improvement in the financial management function of the College.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Accounting degree, CA or CPA qualifiedAdvanced MS Office including both Excel and WordRecent project management experience and strong financial modelling skillsWorking knowledge of finance functions, including billings, procurement and payroll.Experience with Synergetic, OneStop, Trybooking (preferred but not essential)Exceptional communication skills, verbal and writtenAn organised and process-oriented approachTime management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting prioritiesInitiative and critical thinking when problem solvingOverall good interpersonal skills when working in a team environment.Current Victorian Working with Children Check.Current National Police Check.Applicants will be requested to upload: a letter of introduction addressed to the Principal; anda resume.If you have any questions regarding this opportunity, please contact the People and Culture Team via ****** or phone 9909 9528 for a confidential discussion.
