An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced business, finance or accounting professional to join our College community.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, the newly established role of Financial Projects Manager is integral in the financial and budget management at the College.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the College's budgeting and forecasting processes, alongside project managing work associated with strategic planning, coordinating feasibility studies, compliance reporting and other key projects. The scope of the role is broad and will also support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, when required.
The role requires a high level of accuracy, autonomy and time management and is expected to demonstrate initiative and lead improvement in the financial management function of the College.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Accounting degree, CA or CPA qualified Advanced MS Office including both Excel and Word Recent project management experience and strong financial modelling skills Working knowledge of finance functions, including billings, procurement and payroll. Experience with Synergetic, OneStop, Trybooking (preferred but not essential) Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written An organised and process-oriented approach Time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities Initiative and critical thinking when problem solving Overall good interpersonal skills when working in a team environment.
