The key focus of the team includes: Managing the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process across the Group, preparing analysis and reports for the executives and Board.
Maintaining the forecast system and future customisations.Preparing detailed analyses on budget and reforecast trends.Focus on our transparent view of the current and future liquidity position of the FCTG and individual businesses and countries by designing and building enhancements to a three-way financial model to forecast cashflow.The team works closely with the Global CFO, Australian finance community, regional and nation CFOs (ANZ, EMEA, Americas, Asia) and Global Expert Teams primarily global financial reporting, treasury, global financial reporting, tax and legal.
Work can involve international travel to visit new & existing businesses.
What you will be doing: Forecasting & Business Monitoring.Lead the quarterly 3-way forecast process, preparing analysis and reports.Work closely with the local CFOs and finance teams to review forecasts and validate assumptions.Maintain the forecast system, liaising with Super Users across the Group to facilitate training and updates.Utilise forecasts to prepare trend and comparative analysis to drive business decisions.Support capital management decisions using forecasts and scenario analysis to understand the future liquidity position.What you will bring to the role: 3+ years' experience post qualification.CA/CPA Completed.Culture: You will be employed by an inclusive company that offers a team culture like no other in the industry - Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is proud to be a certified Great Place To Work Australia New Zealand Pty Ltd.
