We have a fantastic opportunity to join GOTAFE as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality business support services to GOTAFE stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and taxation regulations.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will provide responsive financial support, manage financial risks, and contribute to the overall leadership of GOTAFE and the Finance department.
Your expertise will drive the financial performance of the organization through budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality financial information.
As the successful candidate you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred, along with professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA.Extensive senior experience in finance, focusing on financial analysis, business controlling, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders in driving financial performance.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to enhance business performance.Proficiency in financial modelling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) alongside a thorough understanding of modern accounting practices.Excellent communication skills to present financial reports and insights to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of financial implications.Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity.If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)A current Driver's Licence (Car).The salary range for this position is $108,038-$117,689 under the GOTAFE Enterprise PACCT Agreement 2023.
