Job Description As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Business Operations Manager, FP&A Managers, and the country finance function to deliver key financial insights and performance management across your business line. You will play an essential role in driving financial efficiency, cost leadership, and capital allocation decisions.
Key responsibilities include: Cost Leadership & ControlMonitor and control operating costs (direct and overheads), ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting.Perform volume/price/mix analysis and drive cost management initiatives across business sites.Oversee and drive forecast accuracy and work with site-level teams to ensure financial targets are met.Capital Expenditure & Investment AnalysisLead capital allocation and ensure rigorous business case evaluations for CAPEX decisions.Conduct post-investment appraisals and monitor returns on significant investments.Collaborate on country portfolio reviews and prioritise budget allocation to deliver maximum returns.Financial Planning, Budgeting & ForecastingOversee the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for your business lines.Provide strategic financial analysis to support business growth, market opportunities, and profitability.Work closely with business leaders to ensure financial strategies are aligned with overall corporate goals.Business Partnering & Performance ManagementAct as a trusted business partner to Regional Directors and Business Line Leaders, advising on financial strategies, challenges, and opportunities.Monitor financial performance and provide insightful commentary on variances, recommending corrective actions where necessary.Support in client tenders, major bids, and pricing strategy development to drive profitable business decisions.Leadership & ComplianceProvide leadership to direct reports, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and company requirements across all finance-related activities.Contribute to broader strategic initiatives, driving financial and operational improvements across the region.The Successful Applicant A qualified finance professional, ideally with previous experience in minerals or within a global or complex organisation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and / or Oracle and Cognos.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks.What's on Offer Why Join Intertek?
