Financial Planning & Analysis AccountantOur client is an investment backed technology group who are on a rapid growth trajectory in Australia. In recent years, they have been in transformational growth, now executing on a corporate strategy centered on acquisitions to new markets, investment in key functions, and hiring excellent people to facilitate this expansion.
As a result of this growth, the Finance Director is looking to recruit an FP&A Accountant, uplifting their growing team in the development of financial forecasts, budgets, financial plans, and analysis of financial data, trends, and conditions.
Supported by the FP&A Lead and Finance Director, this is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual with 2-3 years of relevant FP&A experience.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be seeking a long term development opportunity within FP&A, bringing a strong foundation of career experience from either commercial and public practice accounting backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports to support decision making and insights for management & board.Work with financial models to support various financial analyses, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.Business partnering with cross functional teams to understand business driver, provide financial guidance, and support business initiatives.Support variance analysis, reforecasting, and providing recommendations for monthly board reporting.Utilising business intelligence (Tableau, Power BI etc), establishing and evaluating tools for tracking performance both financially and non-financially.Involvement in finance & business projects, and contributing to finance strategy.If you are career orientated, passionate about FP&A, and motivated to work in a high performing team - this role could take your career to the next level. This client is not expecting the finished product, with this recruit ideally pitched to a candidate breaking into an end to end FP&A Accountant role.
Ideal Experience: CA/CPA qualified.3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to Management Accounting & FP&A.Strong communication skills, and eagerness to business partner with non-finance functions.Analytical skillset, ability to work with models (not build from scratch), BI experience also beneficial.On offer is a competitive remuneration range depending on experience. This client also shuts down for two weeks at Xmas, with no leave balance taken from employees for the time off (yes, you read that right!). They also offer 2 days WFH a week, with a great office in Brisbane CBD.
