A well-established and highly regarded investment firm located South of Boston seeks a Financial Planning Advisor. This important role will serve as the primary contact with clients concerning comprehensive personal financial planning.
The ideal candidate should be well versed with delivering wealth management strategies to the high net worth market segment.
Responsibilities
Serve as financial planner and work closely with team members, including the Managing Partner, to deliver high-quality client service at all times. Work with clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, or other suitable information needed. Develop a financial plan using eMoney, the firm's financial planning software. Work collaboratively with accountants, attorneys, and other professionals. Work directly with clients over the phone, via email, and in person at regular review meetings. Continue to develop and innovate the financial planning service model. Manage client relationships, providing the highest level of service and support. Review and implement investment strategies based on guidance from the firm's Investment Committee. Advise on clients' employee retirement plans and education savings accounts. Update and maintain clients' information on Salesforce, the firm's CRM platform. Follow all compliance procedures as outlined in the Compliance Manual and Employee Handbook. Work with team members on various firm initiatives. Skills
Extremely detail-oriented and possess a high sense of urgency. Strong time management and organizational skills. Dedicated team player with strong follow up, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and problem-solve. Demonstrate character, competence, and compassion with clients and employees. Self-motivated and proactive. Strong desire to continue to build on existing knowledge of investments and financial planning. Education, Training & Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field required. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER or working towards the designation required. Experience working with financial planning software desired. Five to twenty years of relevant industry experience required (preferably in a fee-only or fee-based environment).
