Reporting to a finance lead your responsibilities will include:
Handle the preparation of the management accounts, including monthly P&L, cashflow forecasting and balance sheet accountsLead the month end close including reconciliations, journals, fixed assets, pre-payments and accrualsOversee the payroll process that is outsourced to an external providerPrepare income tax, PAYG, BAS and FBT Manage annual budget and forecast preparation, and provide analysis of performance versus budgeted expectationsReview Trust and Controlled Money accounts transactions and assist with annual auditInvolvement in the training and development of colleagues in finance teamYour Skills: CPA/CA qualifications are desirable, although candidates close to finalising their studies will be consideredStrong preference that you have prior experience in the legal sector, or in a professional services firmBring sound financial accounting expertise and have had involvement in the preparation of the annual budget & forecast process The Opportunity Attractive move to work underneath a finance lead with exposure to presenting financial performance insights to senior managementEstablished global law firmHybrid working model (2 days WFH)
