As the Financial Counsellor/NILS Coordinator, you will encourage participants in the planning and decision-making process, empowering them to build their own personal financial capacity.
You will also work alongside other Financial Wellbeing staff, providing training and support around the No Interest Loan Scheme.What we are looking for:Relevant qualifications in the sector (Community Services – Financial Counselling) or equivalent with substantial experience.Be a member of or be eligible for membership of a relevant financial counselling association.Strong interpersonal and communication skills including a high level of written, verbal and computer skills including Word Documents, email and electronic databases & case note writing.Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.Sound financial literacy including awareness of financial industry, consumer financial rights and responsibilities and the ability to keep informed of industry knowledge.Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.How to ApplyFor a full role description including key selection criteria, please visit our careers website: www.catholiccarentcareers.org.auApplications Close: 9 a.m. on Tuesday, 22 October 2024Interviews: rolling interviews.Applications only progress if made directly through our CatholicCare NT website.
