Our Financial Counsellors provide financial counselling to clients and conduct thorough assessment processes that ensures that clients receive a prompt and efficient service.
Integrate this with state-wide telephone financial counselling service (Moneycare)The role you could playIn this role you would be providing financial counselling for people who are in financial difficulty or hardship or are wishing to avoid such situations.
As well as, developing options that alleviate financial hardship, build financial resilience and improve personal wellbeing.This role can be full-time or part-time for the right candidate.
This role requires the ability and willingness to travel.Salary in accordance with the SCHADS Award, Level 3-5 (depending on experience and qualifications).Key responsibilitiesEffective relationships are established with community members that encourage self-determination and participationA community member centred, holistic approachFocusing on a relational, missional and professional ethos in all case workOngoing assessment is made of community member issues, needs and circumstances from initial contact to exitOutcomes measurement survey processes are followed The ideal candidate would haveRequired to hold the Diploma of Financial CounsellingMust be an accredited or working towards being an accredited member of a state based recognised financial counselling association (SAFCA)Effective relationships are established with community members that encourage self-determination and participationA community member centred, holistic approach.
