About The Role
As the Financial Controller, you will work closely with the CFO to support the company's overall financial management and strategy. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving financial processes across the organization. You will manage the day-to-day financial operations and provide critical insights that shape decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes in conjunction with the CFO to create sustainable financial plans to achieve the strategic objectives of the business.Manage the preparation of all statutory and management account reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This includes participating in audits activities to verify financial statements for inclusion in annual reports.Improving and maintaining financial systems, processes, and controls to drive operational efficiency and mitigate risk.Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to provide exceptional service to internal clients, streamlining processes to deliver efficiencies.Oversee the payroll function for the business and in collaboration with the People & Culture team, manage and implement variable remuneration and commission schemes.Support the business with various projects, including capital project accounting and acquisition due diligence.
About you:
CA or CPA qualification combined with significant experience in a similar role.Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent writing skills.Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate responsibilities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal client relationships and external service providers.High level of commercial acumen.Excellent system skills.Proven ability to lead and mentor high performing teams.
