Financial Controller required - Major Commercial Builder Our Client is a major commercial builder based in the Inner eastern suburbs. They have been in operation for over 20 years delivering projects to $50M across all major market sectors.
Following the re-location of their long-standing Financial Controller inter-state for family reasons, they are now in the market for a high-achieving replacement to head up the financial function of the $200M+ turnover business.
The role will be responsible for:
High-level management of the Group's accounts, regular financial reporting, legal financial requirements, analysis of financial data, forecasting, regulatory reporting, monthly financial statements, creating budgets, risk mitigation, providing high level advice to ensure effective cash flow management and overall profitability.
As well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Preparation of quarterly GST and other tax related activities. Management all statutory accounting, reporting and submissions as well as extensive liaison with the external accountants.
The role will also manage the accounts department, which consists of AP and AR, payroll and administration.
To be considered, the successful candidate will have formal tertiary level accountancy qualifications, ideally CA or CPA qualified. You will have had extensive previous experience within the commercial construction sector and be familiar with Jobpac (or similar). In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary package starting at $160,000 - $210,000 depending on previous experience.
