Recently, their business has undergone some structural changes, and due to this, they are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to help drive efficiencies in their finance operations.

They are renowned for quality and innovation in their product offering and are now seeking to invest in their corporate support structures to ensure the sustainability of their business's prosperity.
Description Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the finance operations team and ensuring accurate and timely output of financial reports, compliant with relevant accounting and taxation principles. Your role will require you to build productive working relationships with key stakeholders to understand business operations and support strategic decision-making. Your main responsibilities include month-end and year-end P&L balance sheet and cash flow reporting, indirect tax calculations, annual budgeting, plus any other reports that are required by the Parent company.
This role requires a candidate with a continuous improvement mindset who is striving for best practices and has the staff development skills to build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Profile To be considered for this role, you must have CA/CPA qualifications and a degree in finance or accounting. You will have previous experience in a finance leadership position and can demonstrate an ability to mentor and develop a team. Strong stakeholder management skills are also required to collaborate and support other departments in achieving their goals.
A proven track record of continuous improvement or experience in leading a 'corporatisation' of a finance function is highly regarded. Our client is looking for an individual that operates with a high level of integrity, can build trust, and who can create a culture of consistency and transparency. Strong communication combined with technical accounting skills and a customer-centric approach is required.
